Pourtney Pattle - Chapter II
We finally reached our destination; in the middle of a forest. I put down my luggage with a sigh following after it. Jamine's excitement monopolized herself that she started to scream and take photographs of big trees and birds. I couldn't deny, they were beautiful and calming. Robert and Daniel, together were setting up the tents. I didn't know what to do nor help which made me sit on my own luggage as a base for me to put down my bottom.
Robert and Daniel are Jasmine's friends. Opposite from me; synonym for Jasmine, they both are zero cool. Incipiently, I was willing to spill my tears in front of Jasmine's eyes for her to uninvite Robert and Daniel to knit up with this camp of ours. Unfortunately, as fast as her eyes spotted sharply on my narrow eyes, I quickly shutted my mouth to prevent my own best friend from raging her anger on.
"What are we supposed to do now?" I asked, right after Robert and Daniel both done setting up tents.
"What about we go for a walk first? Then we'll build a campfire for tonight," Jasmine interrupted, walking towards us from my back. She was viewing the photograhps she has taken.
"Sounds awesome," agreed Daniel, followed by Robert's nod.
In the middle of our walk, my eyes were wild exploring the great view of the forest. As the first time stepping in here, I was completely astonished. I didn't imagine it was this amazing before. I was so unlucky to miss my previous teenage life from exploring the lush. But now, I am so lucky to have the opportunity to stand here, in a God's creation.
"What's that?" Pointed Robert to a messy bush. All of us stopped our steps, diverting our heads to Robert's point.
"A bush?- Obviously?" Daniel lifted up his right eyebrow, showing his astonish feeling.
"It looks like it hides something," Robert walked towards the bush, and pushed it away to walk straight ahead. "See! Oh my Lord!"
"What? What did you find?!" Jasmine grabbed my wrist and ran towards Robert, so that I could follow her. Daniel followed after us. Four of us passed through the messy bush.
"It's a cave?" Jasmine's jaw dropped.
"It's a cave? So, is this a good or a bad sign?" innocently, I asked.
"It's a must to explore this cave! I can't wait to take more pictures!" Jasmine, the excited one couldn't be more excited.
We explored the cave all together. Luckily, Daniel brought a spotlight with him, at least to save me from being more afraid. It left me suspicious, why was there a bush in front of a cave? It seemed unnatural. But I kept being silent, following my friends' steps.
Out of the blue, noises approached our ears. Noises; like it were from a crowd.
